Meet The Chef
Chef Ben Ekuban came from humble beginnings. He was born and raised in Ghana by his mother, before moving to Canada. Being raised by a single working father, he spent most of his time in the kitchen, where he was constantly cooking up new savory dishes from his homeland of Ghana in order to feed his 3 younger siblings. He learned the basics of cooking from his father at a young age. At the age of 16 he started working at restaurants and has never looked back.
Chef Ben graduated from the Culinary Program at Humber College. He has worked at several fine dining restaurants, golf courses, and catering venues for over a decade. Shortly after graduating Chef Ben was inspired to start his own business called Century Delight which was founded in 2014.
Chef Ben Ekuban’s inspiration comes from travelling to different countries around the world with his family. His culinary dishes are infused with aromatic spices, flavours, and culture. Given Chef Ben’s extensive culinary experience he does not have a specialty, but rather caters to the needs and desires of his client. His pride and joy are providing food with great taste and quality.
